Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered in an embedded search tool is sent to the company that operates that tool. Search terms are not stored or logged by this resource.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If an email or other direct message is sent, it may be retained to respond and maintain the correspondence. It is not sold or shared outside the service except as this policy explains.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, basic technical information may be collected when a browser visits, including IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral source, and visit time. This information is used to operate, secure, and understand the resource.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and comparable tools may support site operation, analytics, and advertising. A browser can limit or delete cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and voluntary information may be used for ordinary service functions.
- Operate and maintain the resource.
- Route a search request to the relevant third-party service.
- Measure traffic and page performance.
- Diagnose technical and security problems.
- Display advertising that may be based on interests.
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Eddy County court dockets or personal case records. It provides general routing information for records held by the Eddy County District Court Clerk’s Office, the separate magistrate and municipal court clerks, and New Mexico’s public case-information services. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports. Court-record access is governed by New Mexico Rule 1-079 NMRA and the Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12, as applicable to the records custodian.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools that appear here. Information entered in those tools is governed by the partner’s privacy terms, retention practices, and sharing rules. Those practices are outside this resource’s control, so review the partner’s policy before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to court clerk pages, New Mexico Judiciary services, municipal resources, legal-aid materials, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination’s privacy policy applies. Some advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be processed by the service providers needed to run the resource.
- Search partners that receive queries submitted to their tools.
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and performance.
- Advertising networks that deliver ads.
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal requirement applies.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for information collected by the resource. No internet-connected system can promise complete security, so absolute protection against every loss, breach, or unauthorized access cannot be guaranteed.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. Personal information from a person under 18 is not knowingly collected. If such information is believed to have been sent directly, it can be requested for deletion.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12, concerns public records maintained by public bodies and does not turn this private resource into a court-record custodian. Depending on a visitor’s location and applicable law, a visitor may request the following regarding personal information held directly by this resource:
- A copy of available personal information.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion of information where applicable.
- Limits on certain processing where applicable.
